The Donor
Synopsis
In a hospital overwhelmed by a disorder lethal to children, an ambitious young scientist oversteps ethical boundaries to create an organ donor to save lives, but it must be done in secret. As pressure mounts to reveal her new miracle cure, she finds herself intensely emotionally intertwined with her creation and in a desperate dilemma about his rights as opposed to those of her dying patients.
A nightmarish tale of hubris and a transgression that will change the science world forever. This is an intimate, yet heart racing portrayal of what it means to be human.
